Welcome to "A Mother's Circle" a support group with Desaray

Purpose:

Our gathering is to provide mothers who feel isolated from others, a chance to connect with other mothers. Our hope is  that this space will encourage new relationships, a sense of validation, and a safe community. Mothers will provide support to each other as they continue to embark on this journey of motherhood.

Cost: $25.00 per session

Support Group Leader Role

As a Support Group Leader, I will give encouragement, information, tips, and resources but not clinical, medical, legal, or religious advice. I am here to help all women navigate through the transition to parenthood.

What to expect:

Time Length: 60 minutes.

Meeting Days: Tuesdays and Thursday for 8 Weeks

Starting Date: June 6, 2023, and June 8, 2023

Ending date: July 25, 2023, and July 27, 2023

Maximum members in each group: 6

Schedule:

The first 10 minutes is reviewing questions, feelings/moods, topics, education, and establishing group guidelines for the day. The next 50 minutes is “talk time,” in which group members share and talk with each other.

Group members must be present for the group guidelines before joining in the discussion or “talk time.”
